Toby

We did a DNA test on Toby and it came back 60% pittie and 40% cattle dog...and 100% adorable! We think he will be in the 50/60 ish lb range when he is full grown. As of Aug 17th, he weighs about 17 lbs and is 14 weeks old. He came from a litter of 11 pups who were dumped in Modesto at around 5 weeks of age. He was pulled from the Stanislaus Animal Shelter by our rescue at that time and has been in the same foster ever since.

Toby is very people and kid friendly and he loves other polite dogs. He can get a little scared around dogs that are too rough/pushy with him. He would be fine as a solo dog or with other dogs in the house. He is very sweet and loving and has shown zero signs of aggression. He is doing really well with his potty training and leash training and he loves walks. He has been taught a few commands and he is a very fast learner. He is also crate trained and does well in the car. He absolutely loves his foster bro, a 100 lb German Shepherd and is learning to be considerate and respectful around the smaller dog and resident cats. Toby gets a lot of attention when he is out and about because he is so cute and friendly :) We think he will be a great dog to take hiking or on adventures once he gets a little older.
